Matthew Person is the managing member of Person Huff CPA Group, LLC. Matthew and his firm provide accounting and tax services, financial advising, business consulting to individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. He focuses on small business accounting software including Peachtree, QuickBooks and PC Law. He has taught Peachtree and QuickBooks classes for clients and the general public for eight years. Matthew has been a CPA for 15 years. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1990. He has worked both in industry as well as public accounting for eighteen years where he gained a vast variety of work experience and knowledge of small business accounting issues. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, the New Orleans Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, a Certified Peachtree Software Consultant, a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, and Matthew holds a Series 6 Securities License and a Life, Health, & Disability insurance license.
David W Huff, CPA, PFS, MS

David Huff is a partner in the firm. David provides clients with tax preparation and consulting services, accounting services, retirement plan and benefit consulting, accounting software technical support and training, and management advisory services. He specializes helping new businesses in organizing their operations to maximize tax savings and go from startup to profitability as quickly as possible. David’s education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Minor in Finance from University of New Orleans in 2000 and a Masters Degree in Accounting- Taxation Option from the University of New Orleans in 2003. David’s public accounting experience includes four years at a local firm that specialized in accounting software support and training, and small business consulting in addition to one and a half years experience as a senior tax accountant with a large local firm in New Orleans. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, and the Personal Financial Planning Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the Federal Taxation Committee for the New Orleans Chapter of the SLCPA and holds various securities licenses.
David resides in St. Bernard and is quite active in his community. He is a member of VFW Post 7194 and active in the Greater New Orleans Home Builders Association. David was recently elected to the Board of the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce.

Sarah Pearson, CPA

Sarah is an accountant with Person Huff CPA Group who provides accounting and tax services for clients, primarily for small businesses. Sarah provides clients support with monthly and year end bookkeeping, payroll services and support, and other accounting assistance throughout the year. She maintains close relationships with clients to inform them of tax law changes and credit opportunities. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Criminal Justice in 2007. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is currently working on becoming a Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks.
Beth Goddard

Beth Goddard is an accountant with Person Huff CPA Group. She provides accounting and tax services, and computer technical support and training for individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. She specializes in small business accounting software including Peachtree, QuickBooks, PCLaw, and Champion software. She has been an officer in non-profit organizations, and has worked in industry, as well as public accounting for approximately twelve years where she gained a variety of work experience in tax, audit, monthly write-up and computer software. Her professional memberships include being President Ex-Officio of the American Society of Women Accountants. Beth is a Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks.
Jeremy Moreau

Jeremy Moreau is an accountant with Person Huff CPA Group, LLC. Jeremy provides clients with accounting services, QuickBooks training, and tax services, primarily to small business. Jeremy is a graduate of the Louisiana State University at Alexandria where he received a Bachelor of Science in both Business Administration and Accounting. He is currently attending the University of New Orleans to pursue a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Jeremy is also working on earning his Certification in Public Accounting, Certification in Financial Planning, and a Series 7 Security License. Jeremy has over six years work experience in public accounting, providing accounting and tax services for small businesses. Jeremy is a Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks.
Eric Lemoine

He specializes in QuickBooks and routine write-up work. Eric is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and from Delgado Community College where he received an Associate of Science in Accounting. He is working on earning his Certification in Public Accounting and becoming a Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks. Eric is also a Tactical Aircraft Mechanic on F-15 Fighter Aircraft in the 159th Fighter Wing for the La Air National Guard.
Frederick "Rick" Massarini

Rick Massarini is an accountant with Person Huff CPA Group, LLC. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans in 2008. Since that time Rick has been working in public accounting assisting individuals and small businesses in the New Orleans area with bookkeeping, tax and other accounting related services. With Rick's diverse computer experience combined with his knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, Quicken and other accounting related software he is able to adapt to most accounting systems and provide support when clients need it most. While Rick is working on earning his Certification in Public Accounting, he is active in his community as an active Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout troop.
Stuart Casey

Stuart Casey is an accounting intern with Person Huff CPA Group, LLC. He is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and will graduate in Fall 2013. He is currently planning on pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Orleans beginning in January 2014. Stuart is an active member of several student organizations including Beta Alpha Psi and serves as the Vice-President of student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.
